How can I tell if there is any gas in my tank?

Look under the lid at the gauge.  There should be a percentage gauge with a black needle pointing toward a number between 5 and 85.

Multiply this number by your tank size (ex: 50% X 123 gallon tank= 61.5 gallons remaining in your tank.)

My pilot light will not stay on, what should I do?

Use an air compressor or some other form of compressed air to force the dust from the pilot body.

How long will a tank of gas last me?

That depends on how many appliances are connected to your gas system.  Each appliance demands different

amounts of propane to operate at there maximum capacity. A gallon of propane will supply approximately 91,500 BTU’s.,

if your appliance is rated at 30,000 BTU’s, 1 gallon should last you approximately 3 hours. (91,500/30,000=3.05hrs).
